Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, several airlines, including Lufthansa, KLM, and Emirates, extended their suspension of flights to Israel and Lebanon. The suspensions follow Iran’s missile attacks on Israel and Israel's limited ground operation in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah strongholds after the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Lufthansa has suspended flights to Beirut until November 30 and to Tel Aviv until October 31. KLM suspended Tel Aviv flights until the end of 2024. Airlines are avoiding Israeli, Iranian, Iraqi, and Jordanian airspace as tensions rise.
