Rawhi Mushtaha, the head of Hamas' government in Gaza, was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike alongside two other senior officials. Israeli Defense Forces and Israel Securities Authority confirmed that Mushtaha, along with Sameh al-Siraj and Sami Oudeh, were targeted in a precise strike while hiding in a fortified underground compound in northern Gaza. The compound served as a command center for Hamas leadership. Mushtaha was a key figure in Hamas’ operations and held several important portfolios, including civil governance and prisoners' affairs. Israel continues its strikes targeting Hamas amid escalating tensions with Iran.
