Israel blocked an Iranian flight reportedly carrying weapons for Hezbollah, forcing it to turn around over Iraq. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued warnings as part of a military blockade on Lebanon, aimed at preventing arms shipments to Hezbollah. The IDF has also struck multiple military crossings between Lebanon and Syria to disrupt weapon transfers. Recently, Israel hacked Beirut’s airport control tower to stop another Iranian flight. Hezbollah has retaliated by aiming rockets at Israel’s Ramat David airbase and attacking Israeli tanks near the Lebanese border. Tensions continue to rise in the region.
