Last night, Beirut experienced its heaviest bombardment since the conflict began, with over 30 Israeli air strikes targeting Hezbollah strongholds in the southern suburbs. Explosions, described as resembling giant fireworks, lit up the night sky, accompanied by continuous drone activity. Residents fled on foot as roads were blocked by debris from previous strikes. Israel had earlier issued evacuation warnings, claiming to have killed 440 Hezbollah fighters in its ground invasion of southern Lebanon. More than 200,000 Lebanese have fled to Syria, according to the UN, as tensions escalate across the region.
