Russian opposition activist Ildar Dadin, known for his peaceful protests against Vladimir Putin's regime, was killed while fighting for Ukraine. Dadin had joined the Freedom of Russia Legion, a volunteer battalion of Russian citizens supporting Ukraine's defense. He died under Russian artillery fire in the Kharkiv region, according to the Civic Council, which confirmed his death.
