Nima Rinji Sherpa, an 18-year-old Nepalese mountaineer, has set a world record by becoming the youngest climber to summit all of Earth’s 14 highest peaks, also known as “eight-thousanders.” He completed his final ascent on Tibet’s Mount Shishapangma at 06:05 local time on Wednesday. Nima, who began his high-altitude climbing career at 16, achieved the feat in just 740 days, accompanied by Pasang Nurbu Sherpa. He dedicated the achievement to breaking the stereotype of Sherpas being mere guides, saying, "We are trailblazers, not just helpers."
