Over 30 Lakh Lebanese Displaced, Fear Escalation Amid Israel-Hezbollah Conflict

Over 30 lakh Lebanese citizens are displaced as Israeli bombings continue to target cities, including Beirut. Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, set up in schools and colleges, shelter those fleeing, mostly women and children. Citizens express despair, saying there’s “no solution in sight” as the conflict escalates. Many residents evacuated villages after the Israeli military ordered evacuations from 20 southern towns. Civilians now rely on charity for food and blankets in overcrowded relief camps. The Lebanese Health Ministry reports over 2,300 deaths in the ongoing conflict, which began a year ago.
