On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes on three villages in Lebanon killed 15 people, the health ministry reported. Strikes hit Maaysra, killing nine, and Barja, where four people died. Another two people were killed in Deir Billa, where families had taken refuge. These areas are not traditional Hezbollah strongholds. Israeli attacks have intensified since September 23, targeting Hezbollah but also impacting other regions. More than 2,255 people have died in nearly a year of conflict. Rescue workers are still clearing debris, and DNA tests are underway to identify some of the victims.
