General Sir Mike Jackson, former head of the British Army, has died aged 80. Known as 'Jacko,' he passed away on October 15, surrounded by his family. Sir Mike led the British Army during the 2003 Iraq invasion and served in Northern Ireland and Bosnia. He had a distinguished 40-year military career, retiring as Chief of the General Staff.
