At just 23 years old, Adriana Brownlee has made history as the youngest woman to summit all 14 of the world's peaks over 8,000 meters. Her remarkable achievement was completed on October 9, 2024, when she reached the summit of Shishapangma in Tibet, standing at 8,027 meters, becoming the second British climber to do so. Brownlee's passion for mountaineering began in her childhood in south-west London, where she aspired to climb the highest mountains. At the age of eight, she even wrote a school assignment expressing her desire to "be famous for climbing the highest mountain in the world."
