The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have released footage showing Yahya Sinwar, the killed Hamas leader, walking through a tunnel before the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel. The video, dated October 6, reveals Sinwar with his family, carrying supplies to a bunker later discovered by Israeli forces. Sinwar, 61, was the mastermind behind the attack, which claimed over 1,200 Israeli lives. He was killed in Rafah on October 17. The IDF has been sharing videos and leaflets to highlight Sinwar’s role in the attacks, calling for Hamas fighters to lay down arms and return hostages.
