The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported one death and numerous illnesses across ten states. The affected states include Colorado, Kansas, Utah, Wyoming, and some regions in Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. McDonald's has removed the burgers from the menu as a precautionary measure to protect public health.
