McDonald's has stopped serving Quarter Pounder burgers at 20% of its U.S. outlets due to an E. coli outbreak linked to the burgers. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported one death and numerous illnesses across ten states. The affected states include Colorado, Kansas, Utah, Wyoming, and some regions in Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
