The UK is seeing a rapid decline in its nightclub industry, with around 10 venues closing every month, according to new research from the Nighttime Industries Association (NTIA). Over the past four years, the country has lost 37% of its clubs. Michael Kill, CEO of NTIA, warned that the nighttime economy, which plays a crucial role in the UK's identity, community, and economy, is in danger of collapsing without urgent government support. Ahead of the autumn budget, Kill has called for financial assistance to prevent the continued loss of clubs and protect the future of the industry.
