Russia to Launch Two Private Iranian Satellites for Agriculture and Communication

Russia is set to launch two privately built Iranian satellites, Koswar and Hodhod, into orbit on Tuesday, the Iranian embassy in Moscow announced. The satellites, created by Iran’s Omid Faza Company, will aid agriculture, environmental monitoring, and remote communications. The launch, using a Russian Soyuz rocket, will take place at 2:48 a.m. Tehran time. This marks Iran’s first private sector entry into space, signaling growing Iran-Russia cooperation.
