Two-year-old Ali Khalifeh miraculously survived 14 hours buried under rubble following an Israeli airstrike on Sarafand, southern Lebanon, on September 29. The strike killed his parents, sister, and both grandmothers, leaving Ali as the family’s sole survivor. After being pulled from debris by rescuers, he was hospitalized in Sidon, where his right hand was amputated. He is now in a Beirut hospital awaiting further surgery.
