Staff-Sgt. Halel Solomon, a 20-year-old Indian-origin Israeli soldier, was among the combatants killed in the ongoing conflict in Gaza, according to community members and the Mayor of Dimona, Israel. Dimona, a town in southern Israel known for its large concentration of Jews from India, mourns the loss of Solomon, described as a young man with a bright future. Furthermore, two Indian-origin Israeli women security officers, Lieutenant Or Moses and Inspector Kim Dokraker, were tragically killed in the Hamas attack in Israel a few days ago. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the battle against Hamas, emphasizing the justness of the war for Israel's existence.
