"India Stands in Solidarity": PM Modi After Earthquake Kills 128 in Nepal

At least 128 people were killed in Nepal after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck a remote region late Friday. Expressing deep sadness over the lives lost, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India stands in solidarity with Nepal and is ready to provide all possible assistance. In a tweet, Modi offered condolences to bereaved families and wished the injured a quick recovery. The quake's tremors were also felt in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Officials fear the death toll could rise as contact has not been established with the epicenter area in Jajarkot district. Modi affirmed India's support for Nepal during this difficult time.
