Pakistan reportedly earned $364 million selling ammunition to Ukraine last year despite denying it provided any arms, per a BBC report. Citing US contract data, the report said Pakistan signed deals with two American companies in August 2022 to supply 155mm shells to Ukraine. A British plane flew 5 times from Pakistan to Europe likely delivering the arms. The alleged deals occurred under the previous PDM government. At the time, the Ukraine crisis was dominating Pakistan's political discourse after Imran Khan's Russia visit in February. Both Pakistan's government and Ukraine have denied Islamabad is supplying weapons amid the conflict with Russia. But the report alleges cash-strapped Pakistan profited by covertly selling $364 million in arms to Ukraine.
