13 Israeli hostages were moved to Egypt as part of the truce deal with Hamas, local media reported. 12 Thai nationals held hostage were also released, Thai PM Srettha Thavisin announced on Friday. According to Sky News, no British nationals have been freed so far on day one. The temporary Israel-Hamas agreement pauses fighting in Gaza for four days, allows humanitarian supplies, and expects the release of 50 women and child Israeli hostages. Israel is expected to free a total of 150 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails during the temporary ceasefire in exchange for the hostages, though officials have published a list of 300 in case the deal is extended. Israel may extend the truce a day for every 10 extra hostages freed after the four-day truce period. Israel also agreed to restrict military operations in Gaza's airspace during the period. On Day 1 of the truce, Israel also freed 39 Palestinian prisoners, including 24 women and 15 teenage boys.
