Maharashtra TET 2026 Cancelled After Alleged Question Paper Leak; 3 Arrested

The Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSEC) has cancelled the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026, which was scheduled for June 28, after an alleged question paper leak. Three people have been arrested by Bhiwandi Police following a raid based on a tip-off. Officials confirmed that some seized questions matched the original exam paper. Around 6 lakh candidates were set to appear for the examination at 1,028 centres across the state. School Education Minister Dada Bhuse said a new exam date would be announced after a transparent investigation. The government is also considering conducting future TET exams in an online format.
