Tamil Nadu will now buy only air-conditioned government buses, Transport Minister Vijay Tamilan Parthiban said. He said Chief Minister Vijay wants people to travel comfortably and improve bus services across the state. "The Chief Minister wants the public to travel extensively and comfortably in air-conditioned vehicles," Parthiban said. He added that even remote areas should have good bus connectivity. Last week, the state launched 300 new government buses, including diesel and CNG models. The new buses have been deployed to improve transport services, reduce waiting time, and strengthen public connectivity across Tamil Nadu. (PC: X/@CMOTamilNadu)
