Dawood Ibrahim's childhood residence, along with three family properties in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, were auctioned under the Safema act at Aayakar Bhavan in south Mumbai. Two of the listed properties received successful bids, with a Delhi-based lawyer securing both. An agricultural land, initially priced at Rs 15,440, fetched the highest bid of Rs 2.01 crore. Another land saw a bid of Rs 3.28 lakh against a reserve price of Rs 1,56,270. Dawood, a key figure in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, had lived in Mumbake village before relocating to Mumbai in 1983. This marks a continuation of Safema's auctioning of properties linked to the underworld don.
