The United States launched a fresh wave of strikes on Iran for the 10th consecutive night, targeting military command centres, missile and drone launch sites, maritime capabilities and air defence systems, according to US Central Command. The offensive came after President Donald Trump vowed retaliation following the deaths of three US soldiers in attacks in Jordan and Iraq. Iran said it struck two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US military assets in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, while President Masoud Pezeshkian declared the country was fighting a "full-scale war" with the US.
