West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s helicopter made an emergency landing in Kolaghat, Purba Medinipur, on Tuesday after bad weather affected his journey, officials said. Adhikari had taken off from Dumdum for Keshpur in Paschim Medinipur, where he was scheduled to attend a programme commemorating freedom fighter Khudiram Bose. The pilot decided to land at an open ground in Kolaghat as a precaution due to the weather conditions. After the landing, Adhikari continued his journey to Keshpur by road.
