Suchana Seth, CEO of an AI start-up, faced arrest for the alleged murder of her 4-year-old son at a Goa service apartment. Police escorted her to the crime scene for reconstruction of the crime after she initially denied involvement. Red stains in the apartment raised alarms, as Seth checked in with her son but left alone. Apprehended in Chitradurga en route to Bengaluru, she carried her son's body in a bag. A handwritten note in the bag revealed her objection to a court order allowing her estranged husband to meet their son. Seth attempted to hide the body, layering it with toys and clothes, later revealed during a police check.
