Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra has been appointed the first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which oversees the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Mishra, who headed the Indian Air Force’s Western Air Command and was associated with Operation Sindoor, brings extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning and administration. He was selected from a shortlist of three candidates after 5,585 applications were received for the post. The appointment is part of efforts to strengthen the temple trust’s administrative structure and professionalise its operations.
