A PG hostel building collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan on Sunday, killing one person and leaving two others in critical condition. Several people were feared trapped under the debris. Rescue teams pulled out six people and rushed them to nearby hospitals. The rescue operation is still underway. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed concern over the incident. Teams from the DDMA, NDRF, Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police, MCD, CATS and Civil Defence have been deployed at the site. Authorities are working to rescue anyone still trapped under the collapsed building.
