Indian-American voters are showing a strong preference for Democratic candidates ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections, according to a national AAPI survey. About 66% of Indian-American respondents said they would support Democratic candidates in both House and Senate races, compared with 18% backing Republicans for the House and 22% for Senate contests. The survey covered 2,066 registered voters, including 242 Indian Americans. More than 90% of AAPI voters said they planned to vote. Cost of living and inflation emerged as the leading concern, followed by healthcare, jobs, Social Security and education. (PC: X)
