Prince George began his first day at Eton College on a rainy morning, arriving with his parents, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales. The 13-year-old was welcomed by head teacher Simon Henderson and provost Sir Nicholas Coleridge before entering the historic school. George, who will live as a boarder, wore a jacket and tie during his arrival and was later photographed in Eton’s traditional black tailcoat, waistcoat and white collar. The future king follows his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry, who also attended Eton. The prestigious school charges around £65,000 a year in fees.
