Indian Railways has announced major changes to train services in Delhi ahead of the BRICS Summit, scheduled for September 12–13. Around 26 trains have been cancelled, while more than 25 others will be diverted as authorities implement heightened security and operational measures around New Delhi Railway Station. Several services will also face changes including rescheduling, short termination, short origination and terminal adjustments. The measures are expected to remain in effect around the summit period. Passengers travelling through Delhi are advised to check revised train schedules and allow additional time for their journeys. (PC: AFP)
