AISA president Neha Bora claimed on Monday that journalists protesting alleged sexual harassment of three women journalists by police personnel were detained at a Delhi Cantt police station. She said a team of lawyers was in touch with them. The allegations arise from the October 3 Jantar Mantar protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. One journalist has alleged that ACP Vivek Bhagat sexually assaulted her. Delhi Police said it has transferred the complaints to the Crime Branch for a "fair and impartial enquiry." The Press Club of India expressed shock and dismay, while Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra questioned the delay in registering an FIR. (PC: India Today)
