Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre (BIETC) campus in Bengaluru, emphasizing its role as an innovation hub for aviation. Spanning 43 acres with a ₹1,600 crore investment, it marks Boeing's largest venture outside the US. Set to host a 3,000+ engineering workforce, the campus aims to foster collaboration with India's startup ecosystem. Boeing's partnership with the Indian armed forces is expected to bolster the defence sector, aligning with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. PM Modi also launched the Boeing Sukanya Programme, promoting STEM education for girls in aviation. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah highlighted the state's continued technological leadership.
