India offered 'Air India One' Services to Trudeau After Aircraft Technical Snag, Canada opted to Wait For Backup Plane: Report

India offered the use of IAF One aircraft to Canadian PM Justin Trudeau after his plane developed a technical snag before departure from New Delhi post the G20 summit, ANI reports. However, Canada declined and opted to wait for a backup plane. The alternate plane arriving Monday was diverted to London, further delaying his departure. MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar thanked Trudeau for his G20 presence on PM Modi's behalf. Trudeau worked from his hotel before finally departing Tuesday afternoon. The snag involved replacing a part, Canada's National Defence said. India's offer highlights the cooperative spirit between the two countries.
