Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke accused Delhi Police of illegally detaining party leaders and called them “kidnappers of Shah”. He alleged that the police were acting at the direction of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The remarks came amid protests in Delhi over voting rights and the removal of Jantar Mantar’s status as a designated protest site.
