Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were released from judicial custody on October 21, 2026, following a Special Executive Magistrate court’s order. The court accepted their personal and surety bonds of ₹50,000 each and recorded written undertakings to maintain peace and follow the law. The leaders also agreed not to call for protests at Jantar Mantar while it remains a de-notified protest site. However, Delhi Police summoned them to its Crime Branch office on October 22.
