The wife of a Slovakian tourist who died in a Bengaluru hotel pool has described the incident in her police complaint. Silvia Hotuatova said, “I rushed to the pool after hearing a scream and found my husband lying motionless in the water.” The incident took place on October 30 at the Conrad Hotel. Her husband, Juraj Horvat, and a German tourist, Alexander Maximilian, died after the alleged electrocution. A US tourist and a pool attendant were injured while trying to rescue them. An FIR has been registered against the hotel management over alleged negligence. Police are investigating the incident.
