A 55-year-old man, identified as Santosh Singh Chauhan, was killed after a speeding Mahindra Thar SUV rammed his electric scooter in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on November 7. The accident occurred around 7:30 pm in the Kalyanpur area. According to eyewitnesses, two women and a man were inside the SUV, with a woman reportedly driving. The impact dragged the victim and caused the Thar to crash into residential property. The three occupants allegedly abandoned the damaged vehicle and escaped in another car. Police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved.
