Uttar Pradesh gears up to construct a one million tonne per annum (mtpa) green hydrogen production capacity, set to create 120,000 jobs. The state government, led by Minister Arvind Sharma, unveils the 'Green Hydrogen Policy 2023' to incentivize enterprises and attract investment. The initiative, rooted in the UP Global Investors Summit, received Rs 2.73 trillion investment proposals for green hydrogen plants. Leveraging its extensive river network, UP aims to capitalize on the global green hydrogen market projected to reach $90 billion by 2030.
