In an interactive session at the Ananta Aspen Centre, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted the national security threats arising from advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and deepfakes. Emphasizing that security extends beyond borders, he cautioned against growing foreign interference and stressed the importance of understanding technological changes in the era of AI. Jaishankar also addressed the need for India to bolster its strength in technology and supply chains to effectively counter challenges, particularly from China. He underscored the significance of maintaining peace and adhering to agreements for stability in border areas.
