At least 37 people have been killed in rain-related incidents across Pakistan, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province facing the brunt. Torrential rains caused houses to collapse and triggered landslides, blocking roads in several districts. KPK reported 27 deaths, mainly children, with 37 others injured. In Balochistan, five died due to floods in Gwadar. Pakistan-occupied Kashmir also witnessed casualties, with five reported deaths. Emergency relief efforts are underway, but the Karakoram Highway remains blocked. Unusually heavy snowfall and delayed winter rains have exacerbated the situation, prompting authorities to warn against travel to affected areas.
