A Moscow State University student received a 10-day jail sentence for renaming his wifi network to "Slava Ukraini" (Glory to Ukraine) during the Ukraine conflict. The court cited a "public demonstration of Nazi symbolics" as the reason. Since February 2022, Russian authorities have imposed penalties on those criticizing the offensive or expressing support for Ukraine, with numerous fines and prison terms issued.
