Person Trapped in 40-ft Borewell in Delhi, Rescue Ongoing

In West Delhi's Keshopur Mandi, a person fell into a 40-foot borewell at a Delhi Jal Board water treatment plant around 1 am on Sunday. The National Disaster Response Force and Delhi Fire Services are conducting a rescue operation. Delhi minister Atishi is overseeing the progress. DFS chief Atul Garg mentioned deploying five fire tenders, and NDRF plans to dig a parallel borewell. The victim's identity remains unknown. In a separate incident, a 24-year-old woman fell into a borewell in Rajasthan's Ramnagar Dhosi village last month, resulting in her tragic death despite rescue efforts led by Gangapur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Saini.
