Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 15 airport projects, including 12 new terminals, with a total investment exceeding ₹42,000 crore in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced the milestone, highlighting the virtual inauguration of projects in Pune, Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Adampur. PM Modi will also virtually unveil the Gwalior aerodrome terminal and a statue of Raj Mata Vijayraje Scindia. This event marks a historic moment, with 15 airports inaugurated or receiving foundation stones in a single day, a first in the past 75 years.
