Deadly Collision in Afghanistan: Over 20 Killed in Bus and Oil Tanker Crash

A tragic collision in Helmand province, Afghanistan, claimed the lives of more than 20 individuals and left 38 injured on Sunday. The accident occurred when a motorbike collided with a Kabul-bound bus, leading the bus driver to lose control and collide with an oil tanker. The vehicles erupted in flames upon impact. Among the casualties were the two motorbike riders, three tanker occupants, and 16 bus passengers. Eleven individuals with severe injuries were rushed to nearby hospitals. Traffic authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Such accidents are unfortunately common in Afghanistan due to poor road conditions and driver negligence.
