Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy has gifted shares worth over Rs 240 crore to his four-month-old grandson, Ekagrah Rohan Murty, making him India's youngest millionaire in probability. Ekagrah acquired 0.04% stake in Infosys, reducing Murthy's share to 0.36%. The mode of transaction was "off-market." Murthy and Sudha Murty became grandparents in November, naming the baby Ekagrah, meaning unwavering focus. Infosys, founded in 1981 with $250, revolutionized corporate governance and wealth creation. Sudha Murty, after leading Infosys Foundation for 25 years, retired in December 2021 and now serves in India's Rajya Sabha.
