Tel Aviv's flea market was a colorful blend of Indian and Jewish festivities as over 2,000 Indians and Israelis celebrated Holi and Purim. Organized by the Tel Aviv municipality and the Indian mission, the event highlighted similarities between the festivals, including their themes of good prevailing over evil and the onset of spring. Attendees enjoyed Indian dance, music, henna, and chai, alongside presentations on the significance of both festivals. Israeli artists showcased classical Indian instrumental music and dance performances. The event, graced by Deputy Chief of Mission Rajiv Bodwade, fostered cultural exchange and unity among participants.
