A Boeing 737 plane operated by South African carrier FlySafair was forced to make an emergency landing at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg after one of its main wheels detached shortly after takeoff. Passengers aboard the flight witnessed smoke billowing from the exposed wheel hub as the aircraft landed safely. Although no injuries were reported, the incident resulted in partial collapse of the undercarriage and right wing.
