In a U.S.-led effort to aid Gaza, Navy and Army vessels are constructing a floating platform costing $320 million. Pentagon's Sabrina Singh explained it covers equipment transport, pier assembly, and aid delivery. Satellite images confirm USNS Roy P. Benavidez near Gaza's coast, alongside Army vessels, assembling the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore (JLOTS) system. The project, coordinated with Israel, aims to facilitate aid delivery to the besieged Gaza Strip.
