SpaceX launched 23 internet satellites into space on Wednesday from Kennedy Space Center. The Falcon 9 rocket's first stage returned to Earth and landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean, its third launch and landing. The upper stage deployed the Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit. This was SpaceX's 47th orbital mission and its 32nd dedicated to the Starlink broadband mega constellation. The company has conducted multiple successful launches and landings in 2024. The mission marked another step forward in SpaceX's efforts to provide global internet connectivity through its Starlink satellite network.
