Comedian Trevor Noah's shows in Bengaluru on September 27 and 28 have been cancelled due to poor acoustics at the venue. The September 27 show at Manpho Convention Centre started 30 minutes late amidst traffic jams, but had to be called off abruptly as attendees complained they couldn't hear the speakers clearly. Noah himself arrived 20 minutes late, and later announced the cancellation of both shows while apologizing on social media. He said they tried everything but it was impossible to do a show when the audience couldn't hear the comedians on stage. He promised full refunds to ticket holders for the inconvenience. The cancellations mark a disappointing turn for Noah's India tour, which covers Bengaluru along with other cities. This was the first time his shows had to be called off due to technical issues.
